Where to find needles or syringes in Korea?

Needles/syringes can be found in all areas of Korea, as there are diabetics among the Korean population as well (although as with many conditions, people tend to prefers that others not know about it).  Getting insulin requires a prescription (type prescription in the search box above to find out more about having prescriptions filled in Korea). Needles/syringes do not.

Following are some suggestions on how to get needles/syringes:
1. You can go to a local hospital, clinic or regular pharmacy.  Explain to them that you're a diabetic and you use syringes  If you don't speak Korean, you can bring your meter and/or  test strips, insulin, syringes and they'll figure it out.
2. While most pharmacies don't carry them, medical supply stores do. These are located in many areas but you're sure to find some around hospitals.
3. In Seoul, test strips, etc are sold by some vendors in Yongsan Electronics Mart and Techno Mart.
