What is the minimum wage in Korea?

The minimum hourly wage in Korea is W7,530 in 2018. In July 2017, the Korean government approved an increase of W1,060 an hour. In line with his promise of a minimum wage of W10,000 in 2020, President Moon has announced the the minimum wage in 2019 will be W8,350/hr.

The minimum wage applies to all workers be they citizens or non-citizens, full-time or part-time employees.
