Jongro-gu Community Centers

The various district offices in Seoul operate community centers that provide a number of services for the community including in some locations, swimming pools, gyms, various kinds of fitness, arts & crafts, cooking, etc. classes, rental facilities, and lots more. Foreign residents can use the services provided. The information provided is generally in Korean-only. In some centers, you may find staff who can speak English and who are willing to explain what's on offer. Classes will be conducted in Korean.
Access to a number of city programe are also available through the district community centers.
JONGRO-GU CULTURE/SPORT CENTER
(Korean: Jongro-gu Munhwa Sport Center 종로구 문화 체육센터)
Location: 284-1 Sajik dong, 15 Dosogwan 1gil, Jongro-gu, Seoul
Directions:
Subway – get off at Gyeongbok Palace Station, Exit 1, and walk strait for 10minutes passing Sajik Park.

Facilities: Swimming Pool, Fitness Club, Gym, House of Culture.
Programs for member: Swimming/Fitness Club/Belly Dance/Aerobic/Rope-Jumping /Cultural Class/Multipurpose Class
Programs available for non-member: Swimming
Swimming pool opens for non-member from 11am to 12:50pm and 4pm to 5:50pm on weekend.
Cost for one-day swimming for non-member is 4,400won for adult, 3,300won for Youth, 2,200won for Child.
