SCOUTS-GIRLS
Girl Scouts in Seoul International Schools:
As of 2013, there is one troup at Seoul Foreign School: Junior Troop 12 (grades 4-5). The leaders are always open to starting up new troups for other age groups (as there used to be).
Girl Scouts USA in Seoul:
There is a large USA Girl Scouts Overseas organization on the Yongsan army post. Note: A few years ago the Yongsan group decided to invite the troops at international schools to be part of their council. This opens up a wide variety of programs to the international school troop leaders, not otherwise available (troop leader training, ceremonies, camping, etc.)
The USAGSO Seoul welcomes inquiries and also girls from outside Yongsan, but getting to meetings can be a litlte challenging (post access, etc.) The contact: seoulgirlscouts@gmail.com.
