Swimming Pools - Busan
Swimming pool in Korean is "수영장" (su-yeong-jang).
There are a variety of options available in Busan, including some in small buildings. Just look for signs that say swimming pool. Most of the major hotels have swimming pools. However, many are restricted to guests only or are expensive to use.
Hamjigol Swimming Pool
Classes: various training sessions available

Haeundae Grand Hotel
Hours: Weekdays 6:00-21:00 / Sat, Sun, Public Holidays 9:00-19:00

Rates may change depending on the season
Lessons: Swimming lessons available
Facilities: seven 50 m lanes for adults + children's pool

Haeundae Office of Education Swimming Pool
Hours: Closed Mondays and the day after a national holiday
Admission: W2,500 (no time limit)
Facilities: customized pools for adults and children

Hwamyeong Outdoor Swimming Pool
Hours: 10:00~18:00 (The pool is open in summer)
Admission: Adult W4,000, Youth W3,000, Children W2,000

Getting there: Busan Subway Line 2 Sujeong Station (stop 234) exit 3
Kyungsung Sports Centre
Hours: Free swim Monday - Friday from noon until 5pm (admittance up until 4pm) / 9 till 5pm on Saturdays. Pool may be unavailable for free swimming on Thursdays.
Admission: W4,000 for non-members / W1,500 if you're already participating in another activity at the center
Children's Classes: Mon, Weds and Fri - 3 to 5 (this schedule changes so you'll want to check first0
Getting there: toward the right side of the Univeristy behind the TGIF.
Paradise Hotel Busan
Hours: 6am to 10pm (Closed 4th Wednesday of each month )
Admission: W38,500 - VAT included (covers the use of sauna and outdoor hot spring spa and swimming pool)

Getting there: Near Exit 1 of Haeundae Station, Subway Line-2 or Bus Nos. 302, 240, 239, 141 or 139, 140, 38. The swimming pool is on the 4th floor of the main building

Admission: Adult W3,000 / Student W2,500 / Child-Senior W2,000

Getting There: As you walk toward Megamart from the DaeNam intersection (the large one near the subway exits), you will come to a huge new apartment building (just before the Chrysler auto and Mercedes showrooms). Turn left down that narrow one-way street and go to the large red-brick building. You will see a sign with a turtle on it
